I've been teaching people how to harness the power of "lean" since 2012, first as a District Manager at Rug Doctor, then as a Lean Management Program Manager at Toyota, and for the last 5 years as a professional consultant.
After many years of practicing and teaching the Toyota Production System, I believe that Respect for People and Continuous Improvement are the highest principles of business. I believe that every person has the ability to learn and improve and it's the responsibility of management to provide the opportunities. I believe superior results are the result of superior processes and so we should focus on perfecting the process. I believe the collective brainpower of the entire organization can solve every problem and take advantage of every opportunity for improvement that arises.
